I can see where Steven Turner is coming from, keep more money for him. In my case my husband was in the union with no special training ,except on the job training. He made a descent living and I was able to stay home and raise the children, cook, clean, and garden so he could relax when he came home. We were able to buy a home, go on a good holiday each year and have our kids in sports, hockey and down hill sking not possible with minimum wage. Both parents are both working and still cant get ahead, I see so many people give up and just go on welfare. There kids have dental and medical then and free prescriptions . Minimum wage has to be raised in order for them to have their dignity and be able to support their families even a raise would mean they both have to work. Better still would be unions for them to join and they would bargin for the workers.
