I can well relate to this article, it could just as well be about Cassia County, Idaho and regard Prosecutor Al Barris and Deputy Terry Higley, by whom I was falsely arrested and prosecuted. Arrested and prosecuted without any investigation or evidence, solely on what were later admitted to be the false statements of Diana Pedroza and Pam Harris, a local domestic violence womens advocate. I can say that in my 21 years as a law enforcement officer, I have never witnessed the extent of incompetence and corruption that I unfortunately did in Cassia County, Idaho, extending from the Sheriffs Office, through the Prosecutors Office and to the Court benches. However, as this article and others document, such gross incompetence and corruption are not limited throughout the various areas of this Country. It is a sad state of affairs, but I am heartened to see indications that there are people who are willing to take a stand against it.
