I cannot begin to explain how emotional an experience that was. I dont think Ive ever cried so much at one film. Tears of sadness (Artax the drowning horse), tears of happiness (the first time I heard that familiar galloping song in an actual cinema) and tears of LOST CHILDHOOD. For those 94 minutes I was a child again. An innocent child with no worries and no stress, captured by the land of Fantasia. Dont get me wrong, Im happy with my life at the moment, but WHY DO WE ONLY GET ONE? I want my childhood back. I want to know that when Im a corpse in the ground that I can do this all over again. I dont want to grow old and lose my imagination, my ambition and my zest for life. I dont want to be a nothing when I die. I DONT WANT THE NOTHING TO CONSUME ME. Maybe its the wine I snuck into the theatre, but this whole experience has made me reevaluate my life. I AM ATREYU.
