I cannot begin to express how hard today was. An absolute blessing for Drake and my dad and I to be there and hold Icky in his final moments. 9 wonderful years with an amazing, loyal dog. Making the decision to end his suffering was the hardest decision I have made in forever...I just kept thinking what would he tell me to do if he could talk. He had seizures, a fainting spell, and when he went outside he couldnt catch his breath. So I took him to the vet and in seconds he was gone peacefully. Words cant say what mine and Drakes hearts feel like... Broken, devastated, beside ourselves, the list could go on for days. We thought we were done crying for the day until I walked in my bedroom and saw his bed and water and food bowls. My whole life the past two weeks revolved around him and letting him out Evey 30-45 minutes around the clock bc of the lasix and I hardly know what to do now. Ill get it all together tmrw...(hopefully). Thank you all for the prayers, vibes, hugs, all the uplifting love and sweet comments. They are very much appreciated.
