I cannot fathom the idea that by simply saying the government did not coordinate with proper authorities for the operation, the other party proven itself capable of justifying a massacre. Both may argue on different contexts and bias version of facts eliciting doubts to the public on which story they’d like to believe, but what’s clear is their LACK OF COMMITMENT to the democratic process. Now the government is compelled to answer the call for ending the peace talks or an all-out war against them. But I believed that the opportunity to build a workable framework for a sustainable peace process could have been obtained had there been a justifiable response and action between parties. For as long as the bigots will not take the ruling on this and the results of the investigations will not be corrupted, then we’ll see if ceasefire agreement is worth pursuing and JUSTICE will be served to our upperclassmen and other PNP-SAF. My deepest sympathy to our fallen comrades!
