I cannot get an answer: 1 If a holding company only owns two properties that rent - both residential - because the rent is VAT free does that holding company now need a business license? 2 If that holding company had one property that was residential and one property that was commercial - both rented. Does the commercial rent still attract VAT even though the annual rental income is below $100,000 3 If that holding company with one commercial and one presidential property has a combined income of over $100,000 but that the residential income which does NOT attract VAT is below $100,000 does it still need a business license?
