I cannot get this video out of my head :( Watched it nearly half an hour ago and still keep tearing up :( I just want to hug this sweet boy and never let go :( I do not know where his family is :( but KIDS, PARENTS, TEACHERS- PAY ATTENTION. You NEVER know the road someone is traveling on :( Your kind word in the hallway may be the only kindness they have been shown all day or all week or all month. And your mean comment or giggle may be the last one they will hear :( Standing by and doing nothing puts you in the SAME BOAT as the bullies :( Giggling at the snide remarks makes you part of the bullies team :( and part of the problem. I tell my kids everyday to be kind to everyone in every situation. As this new school year starts, I encourage everyone else likewise. Reach out. Even when someone is being mean, especially then. Often that frustration and anger comes from a dark and lonely place :( YOU can be the difference in someone.
