I cannot hold out any longer for the safety of all involved, I have to cancel tomorrow in its entirety. I have desperately watched models shift their times and I was slightly optimistic when I saw to timelines that had the storms holding off until 8pm. I even went as far to rework the schedules with games starting at 11:30am, playing 5 innings/1 hour games, and last games starting at 5:30pm but the majority of weather models have 80% chances of sever weather starting at 10am with 30mph wind gusts, 2-3 inches of rain, and hail. I simply cannot risk the life of a league member just to try and get this season over. I will be moving tomorrow in its entirety to a future Saturday. It is unavoidable. I have not decided which one yet until I hear from other involved parties. I know, this will lead to teams being upset one way or another but it is unavoidable and impossible to please all 105 teams. In regards to the weather tomorrow, playing in the rain is one thing, if you slip and sprain an ankle or break a bone, I will visit you in the hospital. If you play in severe weather and get struck by lightening or have a severe weather related accident, I have to shake your mothers hand at your funeral. I cannot do it. I know as soon as I cancel, the weather will be beautiful or hold off until late. I get that but we have so many concerns that I am simply not comfortable going ahead tomorrow or postponing this decision any longer. For my own sanity, I will not be checking Facebook or this thread again tonight, answering text messages, phone calls, or emails this evening. Be safe tomorrow regardless of what the weather holds.
