I cannot stand it when people remark along the lines of, Some people just shouldnt reproduce. These individuals need to think about what they are saying. They are willing -- eager! -- to deprive fellow men and women of a great gift: the conceiving and raising of children. Whom shall we deprive of life-giving and, perhaps, even life itself? Mentally-handicapped people? Physically-handicapped people? People of other races? People of other cultures? What restrictive ideas shall we enact? Those of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, who pushed her goal of contracepting and aborting racial minorities into extinction? Those of Adolf Hitler, who implemented similar policies? As a #Catholic, of course, I find this methodology of eugenicist thinking to be morally abhorrent, but it should also fail even the most secular of fairness tests. Spread garbage like some people just shouldnt reproduce around me, and you will be corrected.
