I cannot stand pharmaceuticals!!!!!! I had to have some work done on my teeth yesterday and since having 4 jaw surgeries, my jaw is tender and my teeth and gums are hypersensitive so I have to go in on Halcion and then nitrous while there and a handful of pain meds if any serious work is done (which happened yesterday). I spent most of my night with my head over the toilet, which only exacerbates the jaw issue anyway. Now, if cannabis were legal in my state, I could have treated my pain and had a whole lot better outcome. Now my face hurts AND I am tired, but I have to go work this piddly part-time, government reported job to help make ends meet because my $16 a month food card just doesnt cut it, nor does the monthly check. Please note that I am not complaining, merely stating facts - and not a lot of folks know the walk I walk on a daily basis - I am just one person. I am just one story - there are so many more that are very tragic. I live in Texas and cannot afford to move, and logistically speaking - not a lot of choices of places to move to as I can no longer tolerate cold. What if all of our voices were heard? Would it matter then?
