I cannot tell you how frustrated I am - Ive yet to have a successful metal clay cut. Ive used ArtClay Silver, Goldie Bronze, and a bunch of Hadars clays and the piece invariably cracks (beyond repair) during cutting. Ive tried cutting bone dry clay, half dry clay, clay on Friskett, clay on contact paper (both then adhered to a cutting mat) and always with a blade reserved only for metal clay. Ive also tried etching and then cutting and Ive tried graduating the blade setting from a 3 up to a 9 (Ive been using clay rolled to 3 cards thick). Honestly, Im about to throw the thing out the window. Okay, I feel better after that rant. Can anyone help? Thanks!
