I cannot understand the perspective a large sect of our population has in this modern day and time. If you are black, you are not an African American. If you are Latino, you are not a Latin-American. You are an American. Thats it. Every citizen of this great nation can trace their ancestry back to some other nation. We are not what nation we came from-American. Ill be the first to admit that I am hesitant at times to trust cops at any level, because Ive seen those shiny badges abused from time to time. But I know some true heroes that live to only serve others. And that my friends is admirable. Burning an entire town to ashes is NOT, its rather childish and cowardly. Everyone deals with people on a daily basis that they absolutely do not agree with, but there are mature, civilized, and lawful avenues our great nation and justice system provides us with in order to rebuttal what we think is wrong. The bottom line in these racial cases is this: an American killed an American. Now that weve got the racial aspect out of the way, we can leave it to the courts to decide the legality of the matter. If you feel that something wasnt handled correctly, then go the appropriate route to try and change it. If you are seeking out where the hatred and bigotry originates, look no further than the activists who are always leading these unlawful protests: Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, etc. When we all realize who the true racists are, and decide to no longer tolerate racism in this country, that is when you will see hope and change.
