I cannot verify the accuracy of this site. The article, however, is well written. It states the very simple truth fever is a symptom, and not one that should necessarily be medicated away. A fevers purpose is to help destroy dangerous invading organisms in our bodies, and sometimes they require a higher number than others. Of all the fevers my children have had (particularly my daughter), I think Ive actually given medicine maybe twice & that is because the fever was getting too high (even with non-medicine intervention) and other symptoms were present.
