I cannot vote for mayor, but encourage those of you who can to research all videos available on both candidates websites & the Chamber of Commerces videos. Make your decision prayerfully. Ignore the rumors & go with facts & your gut. Theyre both Christians. They both own homes in Minden. They both own and operate productive businesses, so they have the experience necessary to balance a budget and interact with potential new businesses that might hopefully come to Webster Parish. Ignore the rumors & distortions that troublemakers use during elections. Chad has a degree from Tulane in New Orleans. Tommy is a self-made man. I admire that. Most businessmen, including my dad & others, of Tommys generation had to work. Experience & leadership potential was enough to help them find success. Dont make a decision based on dirty politics of others neither candidate can control. Instead, review their articles, videos, & work experience. Decide rationally & prayerfully who you think can lead Minden into future growth & provide jobs for the general population. Your children & grandchildren. Who will continue to value Mindens heritage & participate in the festivals that attract tourism revenues? Who will personally work with all citizens & effectively manage the employees as Mayor? I pray Gods blessings on our city, parish, & each of these candidates who long to serve our community.
