I cannot wait to leave this politically correct, @ss backwards country of dumb asses. I pray for the day that I can renounce being a Canadian and leave here. This is not Canada anymore. Land of retards. The stupidity of our government and our society shocks me on a daily basis. Why do we always whine and moan for criminals, holding vigils and staging protests when they get what is coming to them? I am sorry but if you are stupid enough to pull out a weapon and confront armed police officers, and then you proceed to resist arrest with said weapon still in hand, you might get shot. And you might die. But it is always the fault of the police. I wonder if there would be as much of an outcry if this moron had killed a police officer or an innocent bystander? Sorry Sammy - you f@cked up and got what you had coming to you. Stop blaming the police for doing their job. We deride them, attack them, try to restrict their powers against dirtbags, gangs and nut jobs, but if someone was breaking into our house and endangering our families who would we call? Years ago in Toronto a young rookie cop was confronted by a dangerous and crazy nut case who cornered him in a hallway...hesitating to draw his weapon (probably for fear of the retribution that would rain down on him) he was stabbed to death by that man. Were there any protests? Was there a vigil? F@ck off. Sick of hearing about it.
