I cant believe I have to wake up in the morning and do a triathlon!! I am going to consider it a major accomplishment if I can actually get out of bed. That course kicked my ass. I knew I had no upper body strength but any illusions to the contrary were quickly dispelled today. No more back to back races for me!! What a great event though. So many people all having a blast putting themselves to the test. Watching everyone work together to overcome the obstacles (and conquer their own fears in some cases by doing so) was awesome. Maya came home and told us about an older couple who ran it together and went down the slip and slide holding hands. That will never be Gary and I but I loved hearing that story!!
