I cant believe I was summoned 2 times AFTER I was told to stay off the roads. But to please a client they tried. 10 am this morning during the sleet and at 1:00 p.m. The person said since the roads are clearer can I get my service time? I was the only one near and my answer was I have 4 inches of ice on my car and um No. Now people have been whizzing by my house all day and a father and his dtr walked from the bus stop to their house just fine. But I can slip on a driveway, a porch, an area just pulling out of a nonmelted spot. Not every place is warm and salty. These who want service are from SNOWY areas and think its ridiculous that we stay home sometimes. I cant afford anymore carwrecks, nor broken bones, nor time off due to accidents. So I lose $50 today by just waiting until life clears. Some of my clients are more mobile than I am so I will not feel guilty over this.
