I cant believe Im bothering to write this but.... 47 Ronin- 3/10. This movie is bad, really bad. If I was Japanese I would actually find it offensive. Its like the Last Samurai on crack...with Keanu Reeves; if thats not enough to convince you not to watch this film, then allow me to elaborate... So it starts out with Keanu Reeves as a child being discovered in a Japanese forest by Samurai. Why is there a westerner in feudal Japan? Beats me. Anyway, so apparently he was raised by demons (who later transpire to be weird looking bird-faced monks) and yet allowed to live with the Samurai as some sort of slave/servant. You know what? I cant be bothered to even continue this review. Just dont watch it.
