I cant believe it but I find myself supporting the idiot Jeremy Clarkson. Personally I think hes a knob and never watch his apology for a motoring show but he was never guilty of uttering the N word on TV. Firstly it was never broadcast and secondly when it was played back the word was not actually said. So who heard it and who was so disturbed by it? I am from a generation who said the rhyme and I never meant to offend anyone but now I would never use the word. So where do we start todraw the line? What is acceptable? Is it OK to call an Irishman a Paddy or a Mick? Can we call him a taig, tim, tatty howker or a bog trotter? Is it OK to call me a Brit, orange bastard or a blue nose? What about Paki or rag head, nig nog or honky? If I am offended by what you call me I will tell you. After I have told you that you are offensive and you continue, then you are either a bigot or a racist. But most of all? Do not be offended on my behalf. In this country I have the freedom to make that decision for myself.
