I cant believe that its 2014 and our collective intelligence with the power of the internet at our side has not completely solved this injustice in the United States. I am embarrassed! Add to this folks who think its more important to cry about how they cant pray in school and whine about dogmatic issues related to religion (with their new-found online capabilities) than to worry about injustices done to those by our penal system for falling victim to an arbitrary punishment system that lets hardened criminals free while locking up those who pose no threat to society, and it is just downright embarrassing to me, not even the state of America, but the lack of intelligence of humankind to let things get this far before stepping up to say how they feel about things rather than how society has trained them to think. I condemn those too afraid to talk about how they really feel about this when people are suffering in prisons today for non-violent marijuana use. IT IS 2014 PEOPLE! WAKE UP! LET ME GOOGLE THAT FOR YA! Maybe we need a biblical scholar to talk about WHAT WOULD JESUS DO TO FIX OUR PENAL SYSTEM? The biggest pet peeve of all of this is the lost productivity of locking people up for no damn good reason. Put those good people in jail who are guilty of no more than marijuana possession to a decriminalized state and case closed. NEXT!!!
