I cant believe this. Its a shore bird using a small piece of fish to fish for a bigger fish. I cant believe how we underestimate animals and the depth of physical intelligence of all living beings that have been evolving together in this environment. Watching this bird fish WITH A FISHING TOOL OF HIS OWN is humbling and inspiring to me. We do share a mystic and concrete unity with all other beings. Thats really where I get the sense of divinity I feel . . . without thinking about religion. At least that observation I have so often inspires a sense of peace in me, and . . . that feels good. Yeah, I watched this video, awestruck, and really loved that single bird and generalized that to much bigger conclusions. But thats what I get out of shared experience with other animals. Makes me feel so good to watch that bird using his brain (however hes doing it) to get food and survive. Hes got patience and perseverence and ambition. The bird. Yes.
