I cant express how wonderful all of you have been with the news of Mas passing. This is the most difficult loss that Ive had to endure and the outpouring of love is really helping me through this. I wanted to let anyone and everyone know about the services. You are all welcome and I really want to make it more of a celebration of such a special soul. Yes, it will be sad. I will probably cry the whole time, but if you want to show her what an amazing inspiration she truly is, please dont hesitate to come. Even if you didnt personally know her, but knew of her through me, rest assured, if you had met, she wouldve kissed you on the cheek like she knew you forever and said, I love you without hesitation. Many of us that were close with her consider her a Saint, someone that just has a special heart. Shed take you in, feed you and listen to you. She was my inspiration, my Mother Teresa, my spiritual guide. I want her to look down on her services and I want to show her how loved and special she truly was. There will be photos displayed and Ive selected a combination of her favorite songs and songs that remind me of her to be played throughout as well. Calling hours are this Sunday, November 16th from 1pm - 4pm at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17th, 8:30am at the funeral home and 9am at St. John the Baptist Church (within walking distance, just across the street) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. We will then head down the street, where her burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. She will be laid to rest with her husband and son, who she has missed dearly. We hope you can come to the calling hours, kneel by her side and share a connection with her spirit before we all send her off with so much love. She deserves to be celebrated like the queen of hearts, which is what she was to all of us.
