I cant find an answer on google so I thought I might ask here seeings as other people ask trivial things lol. Today we were cleaning the pool before the family arrived and hubby scooped a dead baby snake from the bottom of the pool. It was about 30cm long, brown with a black tip on its tail. We picked it up out of the net, it seemed very dead. We left it on the side of the pool, came back an hour later and the snake had gone. This might sound stupid but could it not have been dead even though it was motionless on the bottom of the pool? Could it have woken up and slithered away? Or would some sort of bird take it away? Its bothering me that I dont know where it has gone! Also what sort of snake could it have been? It looked like a baby. Opinions? Tia
