I cant help but notice two glaring and prominent patterns within the core group of the ultra-churched. Applying guilt, clearly an important tool as it is the number one choice and used like a hammer to exercise control over others. Leading by example is sadly in the backseat to leading by fear. Assumption of Holiness, apparently if one can put in the time necessary to attain some title or secure the ability to quote massive amounts of scripture at will, it elevates them to a superior position in the group. This also is used as a tool of choice to justify their passing judgement on the behavior of others they see as less holy, while completely ignoring their own sinful acts. Enjoy your week and remember, its safer to find yourself in the company of those who behave the same way all seven days than amid those who only practice what the preach on but one day a week.
