I cant help but think that the election reselts would have been far different had fewer Democratic candidates chosen to distance themselves from Pres. Obama and the Democratic accomplishments in the face of unprecedented obstructionism over the last six years. Republicans chose to run solely against Pres. Obama, and Democratic candidates, especially Michelle Nunn and Allison Grimes, did nothing to force their opponents to take hard positions on issues affecting middle class Americans and tacitly endorsed the GOP and media derangement syndrome by doing nothing to counter it.
