I cant hold it any longer. I am SICK of this BS rioting going on around the country. I see no evidence of racism in either of these cases. What I do see is innocent people being victimized and peoples life savings going up in smoke while people essentially party in the streets and steal things that dont belong to them. Maybe Michael Brown was simply Jaywalking when Officer Wilson rolled up on him but it doesnt change the fact that he had just committed strong armed robbery, was high, had a lengthy criminal record for a young man including violent crimes, attacked a Police officer and attempted to take his gun. These things are all FACTS, not speculation. The gentleman in Staten Island may have only been selling individual cigarettes when approached by officers but it doesnt change the FACT that it was a crime and when approached, this 64 350 lb man with 31 prior arrests decided to resist. I know he was screaming, I cant breath but if he were truly being Choked he wouldnt have been able to speak. He died because he had asthma, severe obesity and was in a struggle in which he started. Yes officers patrol inner city neighborhoods that are primarily black simply because the majority of the crime is coming from those areas. How would my Lilly white ass know? Well I used to run those streets 25 years ago. I was once a substance abuser and I knew where to go. I also had the ever loving hell beat out of me by a black Sanford Police officer while 2 white officers held me After choking me with a flashlight under the chin Not because he was racist but because I was being a 19-20 yr old Billy bad ass who thought he could do whatever he wanted. I laid on my sisters couch for a week with both knees swollen to the point that I couldnt walk and the kicker to it is....I DESERVED IT and it made me take a long hard look at the path that I was on. I wont call this officers name because he is still on the force but I can tell you this, I respect him not because he could whoop my behind but because without that ass whooping I would have never stopped what I was doing. If you dont wish to have a violent altercation with police, dont resist and become a Lawyer and when one approaches you. Comply, and understand that this man has a job to do and pretty much fears for his life every time he or she goes on a call. These 2 gentlemen were not compliant and NO I dont think the officers in Staten Island were trying to kill that man, nor do I think he deserved to die, it was a tragedy that could have been avoided, not by police saying oh you dont want to go to jail so we will just leave but by the gentleman not resisting arrest. The case in Ferguson, as much as it pains me to say this, I think Michael Brown deserved to die...YOU DONT GO FOR A COPS GUN PERIOD!!!! Im not a racist person, Im neither completely left or right when it comes to politics but i will say this, without officers on our streets there would be a lot more killing going on and it wont be long until the liability of being an officer of the law will be so great that no one will want to serve and protect. We hire them to do a dangerous job and then expect them to treat people like a kindergarten teacher treats a 5 yr old. We would rather take the word of folks that spread rumors based on hearsay as opposed to grand jury decisions based on facts and evidence. We have to stop this madness in our country or we will all end up fighting one another based on the color of our skin because we took the bait of people like Al Sharpton. Love for all regardless of your race or whether you agree or disagree with my thoughts on this one.
