I cant, in all honesty, look at this coming year without looking back at NYE 2012, when and where I thought that I was heading into the best year of my life, and for those who know me, it was a year that did its very best to kill me off for good. So 2014 was largely a year for reconstruction time again, a year for picking up what pieces still remained of me. And as I write this, I cant help but be thankful to a handful of people who, through deeds greater or smaller, helped me crawl out of the abyss I lingered in. I must thank Hugo, my best friend, my brother, a rock; you are all I wish I could have been, and you are the gold standard by which I measure people. Iolanda, too, is someone whos been there all along, shes seen me in my darkest despair, all through my new days of hope. To you, my heart goes out in gratitude. Then theres Isabel, who proved herself a greater friend, nay, a sister, when I could not have wished/hoped for more... She is the very definition of going above and beyond the call of duty, and what she did for me, precious few living souls across creation ever would. My debt to you is never forgotten, and Ill repay it a thousandfold.
