I cant sit back and watch this anymore. Before anyone else leaves, read this. John Taylor created this group and not long after I joined. For some reason that I dont know, John left and the group needed an Administrator, so I took it on. At that stage the group had less than 100 members. That was less than 6 months ago. I then restructured the page and its purpose. This page was here to find the good ones and identify the bad ones. I was sick and tired of people bagging places so what better way to stop this than putting complaints of people and taking it to them. Over the past 6 months, I have had a number of meetings with managers and Head Offices. There has been hundreds of phone calls and text messages. Through my actions, top management of bigger companies like Rampage, Coolabah and such have acted in rectifying the problems. Smaller businesses have started to become well known. On this site you have area managers of different fuel companies monitoring it to gain market research so they know where and what to spend money on to help fix problems that YOU complain about. This site was not about Bagging Roadhouses, but to encourage them to better their business by providing better friendly service, decent meals, fair prices and decent clean amenities for BOTH male and female drivers. To let Roadhouses know that drivers do have family and partners travel with them and offer the same service to them, as a lot of places dont allow children or passengers on site. To remind Roadhouses that Drivers Rooms are for truck drivers and their passengers. To make Drivers rooms comfortable and clean. Some members would quite often post an inquiry as to showers in Ares, so Donna Maree would Google it and ring until she found a place then reply to the post. That is what this page is about, not a free for all shit fight. Very disappointed in members not respecting the UNPAID hard work of others.
