I cant understand teenagers who are selfish. I wasnt given the best parents and my older sister and I went through hell and back things children should not go through. I look at my kids and nieces and think how lucky they are. They are protected from a world that we endured. Yet they come out thinking they have the worst life ever. These kids dont get hit, dont get abused, been grounded I can say less then 3 times and yet they have a bad life. I think what my sister and I went through as a kid, children should not endure but in the end it made us stronger. We appreciate more. I think whether your Mother Teresa you cant prevent your child from making bad decisions. So you let them live and learn and hope they learn because there is only one way road to drive on and if you take a detour then remember to find your way back on the road. My metaphors are always about driving because we are in control of our own destiny. We choose a bad path prepare to go through it and either learn from it and get back on track or stay on the detour but dont be surprised with the bumps in the road. In the end we all make poor decisions we just need to learn from them.
