I cant wait till the cool air does its debut. I want too see orange and red and yellow convering the strEets and the smells of pumpkin pie and roasting dinners and the sound of the old ticking of the central heat kicking on the pilot warming our house while the cool air forms ice on the roof tops during the cold frigid nights giving us pretty icy sparkley slopes all over the canyon as we look out from our front porch on our way out for the morning. bundling the kids up in their jackets and scarves and gloves. Gathering around a warm fire and waiting for the holidays as they come leaping and bounding towards us one month after another unTil the new year comes and goes and we all sit back with a sigh of comfort and some relief eating all kinds of wonderful left over holiday food sipping our peppermint mochas and pumpkin spice lattes (Ill be joining the kids with the salted Carmel hot chocolates). love and warmth and the smells of family and holidays filling the air. Yea that is what my holidays are like. And Im just waiting ever so patiently for the sunkist days to take a bow amd make way for winters performance ;)
