I cant wait to get the number of supporters from the past few days. We were expecting maybe 20 people max to respond...ummm...we were wrong. This was a week long national domestic violence campaign...that we didnt hear about until late Thursday...and thanks to you, my fabulous Facebook friends, we did in a little over 24 hours, what it would take some to do in a month...simply amazing...God is working it out... Remember, my purpose in all of this is to create more awareness that domestic violence can happen to anyone (even a well-educated, strong minded professional counselor like me) I didnt know even 20 minutes prior, that I was about to be changed forever. This is happening more than you know, they just dont share it like I did. My other purpose is to build funds so that I can help me and other people, so please continue to donate christysims.org. My healing is through my helping. My other goal is to achieve justice in my case. I got tired of just crying and writing and decided to do something about what happened to me.
