I can’t find any news sources to confirm this video that was reportedly shot yesterday 7/20/2014. It appears that a Ukrainian military cargo plane, believed to be an AN-26, was either shot down or sustained considerable damage. The aircraft popped flares, and dropped its ‘chuted cargo. It is unclear as to whether the falling parachutes are paratroopers or supply bundles. Another theory is that these were all just para-flares, and no cargo or men were dropped from the plane. At least 14 parachutes can be seen falling from well above preferable jump altitude. Rebel forces on the ground began filling the sky with gun fire in an attempt to destroy the possible paratroopers. Ukraine separatists have shot down multiple aircraft with portable surface-to-air missiles since the conflict began.
