I cauat my first skink yesterday. Rare to see and hard to catch because theyre so fast and wiggly. hardest lizard catch I ever had, and the easiest catch I ever had was the day before when a blue belly just ran into my water bottle. I had to be extremely careful not to snap off his majestic blue tail. I was always frustrated when I was a kid because I caught about every other reptile there is out here but could never get a skink. I felt bad that I had to take his home from him, he was living under a shed that I will be turning into another trailer trash recording studio, so it will be named after him and I will hang his picture on the door. Now I just gotta catch a king snake and maybe my inner child can finally get some rest.
