I caught a bit of a bug on Tuesday night while out, so needless to say I was not feeling well all day yesterday, (not much better today), so I missed out on the New Year festivities. Way to ring in the New Year!! I did have a pleasant surprise though and started it off in a good way. After a few hours of phone time with my kiddos, I mustered up some strength, shoveled myself out , and went to the store. I started taking down my minimal Christmas decorations and started to tackle my EEEEK closet! Amazing what you find! I am now in the middle of a Bonfire and am burning a lot of old papers, etc, as I go through things to prepare for my upcoming move. It couldnt be more fitting that today of all days, I stumbled across the Journals I have kept for the last 4 yrs. Journals that have documented the turmoil of the life change I embarked upon then. I can honestly say, as I reflect back on it all...Time does heal EVERYTHING!! I no longer feel the pain from either situation I needed to heal from. I am AMAZED at the healing I have done and the strides I have made since then and continue to make now. I share this because if there is anybody out there who is afraid to make those changes, who feels like the hurt will never heal, that all hope is lost.. It is only temporary! When I look back on it all now, it was one of the scariest times of my life, but where I am today is one of the happiest times of my life. Where I am headed, I will take any day! Put your faith in God, have faith in yourself, take that leap, the step forward to make the changes necessary to have a fulfilled life, for that is what it should be about a fulfilled, happy life that comes along with bumps in the road...bumps that are minute when you look at the bigger picture. It will be interesting to see where I will be in my life next year at this time, as I always say Well see where we are next year at this time. Thats what New Years is all about.... Looking forward, not looking back. I hope everyone had a great day! #Lovin life and #lovin every minute of it!!!
