I caught my foot as I stepped up and over the baby gate (you know what a pain actually opening and closing it would be). Pull, trip, slip and I was on the floor. Before I could even gather my wits much less the rest of me, over galloped Cadbury with her aged stiff legged gait. She came inspected me on the floor with much sniffing and finally settled on washing my right ear to the point of tickling me. Once I started laughing, that was the end. She loved it! Tail wagging furiously. Tongue flapping furiously. All with me trapped in the floor....
