I challenge all of you to take the pledge and participate in the Embrace the Race and Erase the N Word challenge led by West Seattle High Schools Diversity Club! Personally, Ive taken the pledge because I dont agree with the use of the N word. To me, the word isnt a synonym for friend, buddy, pal. It means color, slave, and was used to degrade African Americans. And regardless of how you end it, whether with an -er or a -ga it still does not mean friend.
