I challenge anyone to listen to this radio call in and believe that our government is doing enough for the worse off people in this country. Of course there are people all over the world who are worse off than this guy. But we live in a country where the welfare budget has recently been cut by £3bn, we allow corporations to get away with not paying any tax in our country when they gain so much trade from it, and our PM said on Monday that the government have sorted out the nations finances. This would indicate to me that there is certainly no need for any food banks to be be used anywhere in the country. I will be supporting Church Action on Poverty as much as I can until action to resolve this problem is taken by the government because Britain isnt eating and this is not okay.
