I challenge the intellectual bullies who say: just because I disagree doesnt mean Im being disrespectful, Im simply voicing my opinion, just like you are. Thats just an asshole loophole. Passive aggressive mindgames. So...no: haters and dissension that generates tension are not part of the game: unless we allow it. And people will say just ignore it, dont take it personally or choose to be kind to them or they are a mirror and I get it...I really do. But until someone says: No you may not bring that energy or play that ugly game here.? It will just keep happening. And life is way too short for that. So: boundaries. -excerpted from Courtney A.
