I changed leftovers again. Had some corn beef. Grandaughter Leyla had told me about how she loved eating Ruben Soup at Sweets in Troy Michigan. She described the ingredients, but I sort of changed it a tad bit. Mine will be a cheesy cream chowder, not the clearer broth soup. With rye bread croutons and swiss cheese broiled. Usually it is Taco Tuesday, but not tonight HA! Since Leyla has been under the weather from too much sun over Labor Day, I will send some soup over to her tomorrow. Anyway Ill post photos later. My Ruben Soup has cabbage, onion, potatoes, carrots, garlic, corn beef, dill pickles, jalopeno, and a cheesy (smoked gouda/ Havarti) cream sauce with a hint of mayo blended in. Ill stir the creamy sauce in before time to eat, then garnish it with the rye/cheese broiled croutons. YUMMO!!!!!
