~I checked my mail at my residence mailbox as usual~Brought my mail inside and went through each piece of envelope~Never thought it would happened to me, but I received a white Flat-Rate envelope that people can purchase from the Post Office~I opened it up and there was a Money Order with a large amount of money to pay me as a Mystery Shopper~I have seen on News Channel 4 where people are being scammed~It was SO TEMPTING to do what the letter was requiring for me to do~But rather be safe than sorry, I had no idea who to call in regards to this matter~At first, I thought just put the Money Order in a regular envelope with a short message of saying No Thanks, Not interested (or something to that nature)~But instead I got online and pulled up the FBI website and talked to an actual person in regards to the letter and Money Order~To make a long story short, I did what the FBI said to do because it was definitely a scam that if I did what the requirements was saying for me to do, then I would have to pay back the amount on the Money Order~I guess I was in shock, because we hear and see our News broadcasting have people who have been victimized with this type of scam.............Never thinking that someone like me that lives in a small town could received this in the mail box~I basically am guarding the envelope, Money Order, FBI Complaint form, etc. with all that I can~The authorities are going to get in touch with me soon to be doing investigating~So, I guess this is just a polite way of warning each of you.........That if you receive anything in the mail that is questionable and has a Money Order that looks legitimate, PLEASE DO NOT CASH THE MONEY ORDER OR DO NOT DEPOSIT THE MONEY ORDER IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT~ Get in touch with me and I can help you with who to get in contact with~This is Me.........Rebecca M.
