I completely disagree with the awarding of purple hearts for these victims. I find it hard to swallow knowing that they are being awarded the same decoration as two of our troops who were killed in combat. I dont believe Ft Hood was a combat confrontation. This almost makes me as mad as when i found out one of our troops fought for 6 years after our deployment and then she was awarded a purple heart and wasnt injured. Im interested to know the opinions of my fellow combat brothers & sisters or anybody else.
