I consider myself a deserving student for the undergraduate - TopicsExpress

I consider myself a deserving student for the undergraduate scholarship program in the Australia for a few reasons. I have got a physically challenged life with problem in proper hand movement, walking and much difficulty in speaking as well. But, academically, I am as capable as other students with sound body that is evidenced by the marks I have scored in my final exams. Despite of physical challenged life, there is no any bar to my intelligence which paves the way for my success. I am sound enough in academic environment and extramural activities as well. I have 84.88% in School Leaving Certificate (S.L.C.), which is an excellent score with situation of facilities for disabled people in our country Nepal. Considering the lack of necessary equipment and the aid materials for the student with physically challenged life, whatever I have achieved academically is very good. I was awarded full scholarship for two years (for grade 11 and 12). Son of a lower middle class family, its virtually impossible for me to pursue further studies without scholarship in Australia. I had never boasted about my good score in examination. I deliberated that scored percentage doesn’t matter everywhere every time. If we have creative idea and conceptual talent, we are not considered an average person. We should explore our critical thinking abilities and knowledge wherever we pursue. I have abilities and capabilities to express my thought and creative ideas through creative medium like poems, essays and stories etc. Frequently, I involve myself in inter-school as well as inter-college extracurricular activities. Although I am not always the winner, I never give up participating. My aspiring mind & closed eyes always dream of perfection and my open eyes are determined for the excellence. After I started studying computer science sincerely from Grade 11, I have started learning webpage designing. In our country, the future adjustment for physical challenged person is below par or satisfactory. Even the intellectual and inner qualities of disabled people have no good status and significance. Moreover, I have also not found opportunities over past few years to cultivate skills and interests in the related fields for disability. Conversely, due to my familys income which is way less than the educational expenses at the Australian universities, I sometimes get diverted from my ambition which I need to achieve. Lack of any formal academic program on computer science and technology in Nepal for the physically challenged students and my keen desire to pursue further studies from Australia. So, If there is some favouable opportunity from this University which will cater me with the tangible and intangible support for my future academic endeavor. Please inbox at bhabhuk@gmail
