I considered visiting another site today, but found that weekends are terribly crowded here in Gettysburg. On one hand, Im glad that people are coming here, but Im not a crowd person. So after we finished with the plotting, I headed over to the Specialty hotel, which is the Eisenhower Hotel and Convention Center. Its a sprawling hotel, with a large event center. (The Bearded Collies National just wrapped up there.) The Labbies werent set up yet, so I headed back to my hotel, with a stop at Giant to gather some breakfast things for tomorrow morning. My hotels breakfast bar is very short on proteins, and the other offerings contain wheat, so I wanted to have something good to eat. I need to put my TD track in at 7:45 am, so not enough time for me to stop at next-door Perkins for breakfast. Thanks to my best friend Cheryls suggestion, I picked up some envelopes of Justins almond butter. I also got bananas, an avocado, and some individual size organic applesauce. Im not hungry early in the morning, but I want to make sure I have some fuel in my tank! :-)
