I constantly get these Pinnacle mommy and daddy rich kids in my shop that tell their parents to shut up or call them stupid and never say thank you after they spend $2,000 on a new stereo system for their 16yo sons first car (which is usually a new Mercedes or BMW) and it makes me want to reach over the counter and slap them silly like their parents should. But today was refreshing. I just had a kid in here with a beat up 97 suburban with no power steering who bought a $37 pair of speakers and was happier than Ive ever seen anyone after I installed them. He said its the first time hes ever had music in his car and he thanked me at least 20 times. He could not stop talking about how excited he was and made it a point to shake my hand before he left. I watched him drive away literally smiling so big I could see it in his rear view mirror. Be thankful for what you have, people. You have it better than you think.
