I constantly have stunt planes flying over my house - doing loop the loop and all sorts of other climbing and diving. It is like having an angry wasp in your ear. As I work from home, peace and calm is very valuable to what I do. I have decided to take action. Local authority - not responsible, it is the role of the CAA. CAA - NO legal rights to control planes for noise alone. Does issue noise certificates for planes to control noise. BUT these are old biplanes - apparently they do not need a noise certificate. So basically if you have a noisy old plane in the UK you can fly it around anywhere you like, bothering anyone you want with total abandon! They started practising at 0615 this morning and are still at it now.
