I contacted a soap making supplier here in our wonderful country to ask if they wholesale their micas (used to colour the soap), seeing that R20 for 10 ml is kinda rough. Their answer NO they dont. One has to wonder why, since the price break you might get for buying in volume will obviously improve turnover which leads to price breaks from their supplier. Could it be that they are worried about supplying their future competition. I honestly dont know. So the next time you wonder why handmade/home-made soap is more expensive than regular soap keep in account what it cost to have all natural ingredients.
