I contemplated saying something about this publicly, but I think I should probably address it. I dont intend to appear insensitive to your private messages in my Facebook inbox; however, I dont really check those, so please dont be offended if I dont respond. Many of you send prayer requests, requests for individually private prophetic words, phone number requests and other requests that shall remain unspoken, but I dont check/pay attention to those. I see them, but I dont check them closely enough. Facebook is not a way for me to get connected to your privately after visiting your churches, events, ministries, etc. The relationships that I have with your leaders are too integral for me to jeopardize engaging in private dialogue with members of their local assemblies. I may click on a message here and there when I can tell its a prayer request. I may not respond to your request, but I have lifted you before the Father. Thanks for thinking enough of me to have me agree with your immediate needs. Im honored. But out of respect to the manner of ministry to which I am called I cannot afford to spend idle or useless time on Facebook. Your messages are meaningful and thoughtful and because I have 5,000 Facebook friends, some of whom are biological family and real friends, I just cant entertain everything that comes in. I love you all, but its too much to read, digest and respond, but I get it. And when I get it God hears it.
