I contracted for Turner Construction durring the Palm Spgs. Airport Terminal expansion. They had to demolish some of the concrete to pour stronger concrete slab or foundation. A Jack hammer would be time consuming and they had a timeline they had to stick to. They used small shape charges to break up the concrete into smaller chunks to make the whole process streamlined. Hardly any dust was left over. Turns out they worked on fire proofing the towers near the impact sites a week or so before 9/11. I wish I still had my contact, but he moved away and I couldent find him. I dont know if its relevent to the group, but I had to say something about the connection that company had to WTC fire upgrades.
