I could have done without this! As most of you know, I have a blind eye because multiple sclerosis attacked that optic nerve. Today, I found out that I have macular degeneration in the good eye. Not everybody gets macular degeneration. Among those who do, mine appears to be pretty far ahead of schedule. I have spent the last ten years, or so, knowing that there has been five to twenty percent chance of real blindness. Now, I know that blindness is much more likely than living out my life sighted. There are so many places I want to go, and things I want to do. My time to do them might be pretty short.
