I am open and honest with them about everything, I speak to them how I would expect them to speak to people. (Unless they are being naughty) They hear it all from me up to a level their age can handle, the good, the bad and the ugly. We have long talks about being practical during impracticality, about fair during unfairness. Life has so much to offer, but is can blow sometimes. Always be that person you would want your kids to be, or bring home to you. Dont be afraid to let your kids see you cry, but laugh with them, spend time, be honest with them, and LOVE them.
